The coordinated search resumed the following morning, and his body was located and brought ashore near Freedom Beach at approximately 3:10 PM on August 11, 2026.

The deceased and a female companion had entered the water at Freedom Beach despite red warning flags indicating dangerous conditions, when heavy waves struck, pulling them away from shore. Lifeguards managed to rescue the woman, but Mr. K. was swept further out to sea and disappeared.
